Location:
Delta State University is located on Highway 8 West in Cleveland, Mississippi. From the intersection of Highways 61 and 8 in Cleveland, travel west on Highway 8 approximately 1 mile to the campus entrance.

Cleveland, Mississippi, recently named by Smithsonian Magazine as #2 of the top 20 small cities to visit in the country, is located approximately two hours from Memphis, TN and Jackson, MS.

Transportation:
The nearest international airports are located in Memphis, Tennessee (110 miles north of Cleveland) and Jackson, Mississippi (130 miles southeast of Cleveland). Regional airport facilities are located in Greenville, Mississippi which is 40 miles southwest of Cleveland (served by Silver Airways), and the nearest municipal airport is located within Ceveland’s city limits. Delegates and guests arriving by commercial flights into Memphis, Jackson, or Greenville may utilize rental car services.

There is no public transportation in Cleveland, although there is a taxi service.

Directions from Memphis:
Take U.S. 61 south to Cleveland (about 110 miles). Once in Cleveland, turn right on to MS. Hwy 8 and proceed through the business district. Go through the 4th traffic signal (intersection of 8 and Fifth Avenue) and the main entrance to the campus is on the left.

Directions from Jackson:
Take U.S. 49 north to Yazoo City.  In Yazoo City, follow Hwy 49 toward Greenwood.  Remain on 49 to Indianola (about 65-70 miles).  Turn left on U.S. 82 East (4-way stop). Proceed about ¾ mile MS Hwy 448. Turn right on to 448 and proceed 15 miles to Shaw.  Turn right on US Hwy 61 North into Cleveland.  (10.8 miles).  Turn Left onto Hwy 8 West.  Campus will be on the left.

Directions from Vicksburg:
Take U.S. 61 north into Cleveland (110 miles) to the intersection of Hwy 8 in Cleveland. Turn Left onto Hwy 8 West.  Campus will be on the left.

Interstate 55 from Jackson and Louisiana:
Take I-55 north to Grenada and take Exit 206 (Miss. Hwys 7-8). Turn to left onto MS Hwy 8 West.  Hwy 8 bears right in Holcomb. Remain on Hwy 8 into Cleveland.  Campus will be on the left.
